Seek.

Gateway Community Church is a place where people can come to seek after the Lord and hear the good news that Jesus died for the sins of the world. This means everyone is invited to come with questions and concerns about God and that visitors don’t have to have their lives perfectly put together before joining us for worship.

Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

Grow.

Our goal is that those who seek and find the Lord will then grow in their faith and love for Him. Our task as a church is to assist people in their life-long growth process through worship, small groups, and the preaching of the word.

We are also committed to growing closer together in our relationships with each other. We are a tight-knit family of believers who take care of each other and work together in our mission to bring others to Christ. Because of this goal, we strongly encourage people to meet together in fellowship so that life-long bonds and friendships are formed.

Ephesians 4:15 “We are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.”

Live.

Lastly, we want people to grow in order to passionately live out their faith. We encourage everyone to get involved in regularly serving our church and community in different ways, and we teach the importance of striving to live out God’s word in every area of our lives as we obey him and reach out with the gospel each day.

James 1:22 “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only.”
